ELEGANT PEACH DESSERT 
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
3 c. peaches, peeled & sliced (frozen peaches may be used)
2/3 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
24 lady fingers, split

Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar and lemon juice on the peaches. Cream butter, adding remaining sugar. Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Fold in peaches to above mixture.

Line buttered oblong mold with lady fingers, reserving a few for the top. Fill with peach mixture and cover with remaining lady fingers. Chill 24 hours. Carefully unmold. Serves 6.
