1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour

Pat into pan, prick with fork. Bake 5 minutes at 350 degrees then turn down to 300 degrees for about 1/2 hour or longer. Sprinkle with sugar. Let sit awhile then cut while warm. 9"x13" pan, fill with 2 batches or use smaller pan for 1 recipe.
