PEACH COBBLER 
2 16 oz. cans Del Monte sliced peaches, drained
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 c. milk

Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Place peaches in bottom of pan and sprinkle with nutmeg. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; set aside.

Combine butter, egg and milk. Stir in shifted dry ingredients; mix well. Spoon batter evenly over peaches.

Bake at 400°F for 30 minutes. Serve warm or cold with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
