MARSHMALLOW DESSERT | |
24 graham crackers, rolled & crushed 8 tbsp. butter 1 lb. marshmallows 1 c. milk 1 pt. cream, whipped 1 sm. can crushed pineapple or 2 bananas, sliced Heat milk and add marshmallows and dissolve, stirring constantly; let stand until mixture is cold. Add the whipped cream and some pink cake coloring if desired, then pineapple or banana but not both. Roll the crackers and add the melted butter. Line a pretty bowl with the cracker mix, turn to form a crust. Pour in mixture and top with a few cracker crumbs. Serves 8. |
