CABBAGE AND NOODLES 
1 clove garlic
1/2 head cabbage
1/4 c. butter
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Black pepper
1/4 lb. noodles
Chopped ham (optional)

Saute minced clove of garlic in butter in a skillet. Add garlic salt. Cut up cabbage; add to butter mixture and cook until cabbage is wilted well. Sprinkle with pepper to taste.

Cook noodles in kettle of salted water. Drain noodles and add to the cabbage mixture. Stir until well mixed. If desired, add chopped ham.
