CARAMEL BANANA ICE CREAM 
1 stick of butter
3 c. packed light brown sugar
5 pts. half and half cream
4 c. or 12 med. ripe mashed bananas
4 tbsp. vanilla

SAUCE:

3 c. light brown sugar
1 c. half and half
3/4 stick butter
4 tsp. vanilla

Stir butter and sugar on low heat until melted. Add cream and stir well until smooth. Remove from heat and pour into large bowl. Add bananas and vanilla. Mix well and chill for one or more hours. Make in 4 quart or larger ice cream freezer.
