ITALIAN BAKED ASPARAGUS 
1 lb. asparagus spears
3-6 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. finely chopped onion
3 tbsp. finely chopped celery
1 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp. grated bread crumbs
4 canned Italian peeled tomatoes (diced)
Salt, freshly ground pepper, oregano, thyme

Melt butter in bottom of rectangular baking dish. Line bottom with asparagus. Sprinkle with rest of ingredients. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 4.
