CANDLE SALAD 
4 maraschino cherries (red)
2 lg. or 4 sm. bananas
4 pineapple rings
2 c. cottage cheese (or more, if preferred)
4 toothpicks

Preparation (for 1) : Place 1 pineapple ring on a small salad plate. Cut one large banana in half or cut the bottom off a small banana so it is flat.

Place the banana so it is standing upright in the pineapple ring. With a toothpick, insert a cherry on top of the banana. Put 1/2 cup cottage cheese around the pineapple ring.
