CHICKEN POT PIE 
Pieces of chicken
1 onion, cut up
4 or 5 potatoes
Salt

Cook chicken until tender. Remove from bone. Then add other ingredients.

POT PIE DOUGH:

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. lard or shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. water

Combine dry ingredients. Cut in lard. Beat egg into water. Add to flour. Stirring until blended. Roll dough out very thin. Cut into 2 inch squares. Drop into chicken. Cover tightly and cook about 20 minutes or more. Beef and ham may also be used.
