PEAR SALAD 
1 lg. can pears
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. Cool Whip

Drain juice from pears, reserve 1 cup. Bring juice to boil over high heat. Remove from heat; add Jello. Chill until partially set. Mash pears with fork. Add cream cheese, blend until creamy. Stir in Jello mixture. Fold in pecans and Cool Whip. Pour into mold and chill.
