MACARONI - BEEF SKILLET 
4 tbsp. fat
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. diced carrots
3/4 c. diced celery
1 3/4 c. tomatoes
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1-1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni

Melt fat in a large skillet and brown the meat in it. Add onion, celery and carrots. Cook until brown. Add tomatoes and seasoning and simmer for about 30 minutes. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water and drain. Combine with meat mixture and serve at once. Serves 4-6.
