ALABAMA PEANUT BRITTLE 
2 c. sugar
3 c. raw peanuts
1 c. white Karo
1 c. water
2 tsp. baking soda
Butter, the size of a walnut

Cook in large skillet or container until it spins a thread (the sugar, Karo, and water). Drop in raw peanuts, cook until well parched. Remove from fire, add butter the size of a walnut and 2 teaspoons of soda. Work fast and spread thinly on a buttered cookie sheet. Cool and break into desired pieces. Good!
