MRS. SPIRER'S CHOCOLATE CAKE
ICING
 
4 oz. bitter sweet Baker's chocolate
1 lb. 10X sugar
1 lump butter
1/2 c. vanilla (or to taste)
1 can evaporated milk (you won't need the whole can)

1. Melt chocolate in oven (or in double boiler).

2. Mix in sugar, butter and vanilla.

3. Add enough milk for spreading consistency. Yield: Icing for a 2 layer cake.
