BRAN REFRIGERATOR MUFFINS 
1 (15 oz.) box Raisin Bran
1 c. shortening
4 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. salt
5 tsp. baking soda
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
5 c. flour
4 c. buttermilk
Extra raisins (optional)

Mix bran, sugar, flour, soda and salt in very large bowl. Add melted shortening and butter, eggs and buttermilk. Mix well; add extra raisins. Store in covered container in refrigerator and use as desired for up to 6 weeks. Fill greased muffin tin 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
