HUNGARIAN NUT ROLL 
4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter, melted
1 lg. cake yeast
4 egg yolks, beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk

Dissolve yeast into lukewarm milk. Add sugar, salt, egg yolks, which have been beaten, butter (melted). Pour into flour, mix well. Let rise 1 hour. Divide into EIGHT parts. Roll thin.

NUT FILLING:

8 c. nuts, ground
2 c. sugar
4 egg whites, slightly beaten
2 tsp. vanilla

Spread nut filling on dough. Roll as a jelly roll. Make diagonal slits on top of roll. Let rise 1/2 hour. Brush tops with a beaten egg. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Makes 8 loaves.
