HUNGARIAN NUT OR POPPYSEED ROLLS 
4 tbsp. sugar
1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
4 egg yolks
1 cake yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
1 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour
Pinch of salt
Grated rind of 1 lemon

Cream butter with 4 tablespoons sugar. Add egg yolk. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water with 1 tablespoon sugar and add. Sift flour with salt and grated lemon rind. Mix well and knead on floured board 5 minutes. Let rest one hour. Divide into 3 parts. Roll each rectangle fill favorite nut poppy seed etc. Place into a greased 10 x 15 inch pan. Let rise again for about 1 hour. Brush with beaten egg. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
