ORNAMENT COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
4 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. baking soda

FROSTING:

2 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Little bit of milk to get spreading consistency
Food coloring (optional)

Cream butter and sugar, add egg. Beat until light. Mix dry ingredients together and add to first mixture. Cover and chill 2 hours. Roll dough to 1/8 inch thickens. Cut and bake on ungreased cookie sheets. Frost and eat.
