(Greek butter cookie covered with powdered sugar. Approximately 70 cookies.)

1 lb. sweet butter
1/2 c. confectioner's sugar
4 1/2 c. flour

Whip softened butter until white. Add confectioner's sugar. Gradually add flour. Shape into crescents and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until cookies are sand colored. Sift confectioner's sugar onto large wax paper. Sift additional confectioner's sugar over tops and sides of cool cookies.
