RAISED DOUGHNUTS 
1 pt. sour cream
1 pt. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. baking soda, dissolved in milk
Flour

Cream eggs, sugar together. Add sour cream, buttermilk and soda dissolved in milk. Mix well. Stir in enough flour to make dough firm enough to work. Roll out on lightly floured board and roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with doughnut cutter or large glass. Fry in deep hot fat until golden brown (burning over once). Drain.
