RAISED DOUGHNUTS - AUNT MAUDE'S 
4 c. milk
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3 1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, beaten
2-3 tbsp. yeast in 1/2 c. warm water

Scald milk. Pour over butter and sugar. Let cool. Add flour. Raise once, cut out doughnuts and let raise again. Fry in oil.
