1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. hot water
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 cakes yeast
7 1/2 c. flour

Mix well. Let raise twice before rolling out. Roll out, cut and let raise again. Bake at 400 degrees in hot grease. Glaze with 1 package powdered sugar, 10 tablespoons boiling water and 3 teaspoons vanilla.
