MARINATED VEGETABLES 
1 can green beans
1 can English peas
Raw carrots, sliced
Raw onion, rings
6 black pepper rings
1 can water chestnuts
Mushrooms, raw or canned

1/2 c. oil 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. salt Dash of pepper

Combine all ingredients in marinade. Pour over the vegetables. Add water to cover the vegetables. Allow marinade 2 to 3 days before serving. May stay in the refrigerator several weeks.
