CHEWY COCONUT-RAISIN NUT COOKIES 
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
2 c. Raisin Nut Bran cereal
1 1/2 c. flaked or shredded coconut
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix sugars, butter, vanilla and eggs in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Shape dough by teaspoonfuls into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet. About 4 1/2 dozen cookies.

HIGH ALTITUDE DIRECTIONS (3500 to 6500 feet) : Decrease brown sugar to 1/2 cup and baking soda to 1/4 teaspoon. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
