CROWN JEWEL DESSERT | |
1 (3 oz.) pkg. raspberry Jello 1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jello 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jello 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello 4 c. hot water 2 c. cold water 1 c. pineapple juice 1/4 c. sugar 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello 1/2 c. cold water 2 c. whipping cream Prepare the first 4 boxes of Jello separately using 1 cup hot water to dissolve Jello. Then add 1/2 cup cold water. Pour into separate shallow pans. Chill until very firm. Then cut into 1/2 inch cubes to form the jewels. Heat pineapple juice and sugar to boiling. Dissolve strawberry Jello into hot liquid; add remaining 1/2 cup water and chill until syrupy. Whip cream and fold into strawberry mixture. Then fold in the Jello Jewels. Chill for at least 4 hours. This recipe will serve about 18. |
