SPICED NUTS 
4 c. shelled pecans
2 sticks butter
2 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. ground cloves

Cook pecans in butter over medium heat for 20 minutes. Drain on paper towel.

Mix sugar and spices in a paper bag, add nuts to mixture and shake vigorously. Empty nuts into colander and shake off excess spices.
