2 cups milk
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/3 cups sugar
3 tbsp. Cocoa
1 stick butter
3 eggs (separated)
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, cocoa, flour, and cornstarch together; add egg yolks, one at a time; mixing well. Add vanilla, milk, and butter. Cook in heavy sauce pan over medium heat until thick, stirring consistently.

Pour into baked pie shell. Cover top with cool whip when cooled this is the way I like it best. OR Beat egg whites until stiff; add 1/3 cup sugar and beat again; spread over pie while warm and brown in oven.
