HONEY SPICED NUTS 
3 cups confectioners' sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. allspice
1 egg white
2 tbsp. honey
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 lb. nuts

Sift sugar and spices three times. Spread half of mixture 1/4-inch thick on baking sheet.

Beat egg white, honey and salt until mixed, but not foamy. Add nuts and stir until well coated. Place nuts on sugar mixture one at a time; cover with remaining sugar mixture.

Bake at 225°F for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Remove nuts; brush off excess sugar. Cool and store in covered jar.

Makes 1 pound.
