QUICK CARAMEL FROSTING 
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. milk
2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar

Melt butter in saucepan. Add brown sugar. Cook over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add confectioners' sugar gradually, beating well until firm enough to spread. This is good on white or chocolate cake.
