SATIN FROSTING 
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
4 egg whites
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tbsp. glycerine
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Sift the confectioners' sugar, beat egg whites until frothy. Add the salt and cream of tartar and beat until stiff, but not dry. Gradually beat in the sugar; add the glycerine and extracts. Beat well to blend.
