GRANNY'S FRUIT COBBLER | |
1 stick butter 1 c. self-rising flour 1 c. sugar (brown, granulated or mixed) 1 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. fresh or canned fruit While preheating oven to 350 degrees, place stick of butter in 9 x 13 inch pan in oven to melt. Remove pan from oven. Mix flour, sugar, milk and vanilla. Pour over butter in pan. Spread fruit evenly over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Batter will rise over fruit. My great granny always used apples and peaches. |
