BANANA SPLIT CAKE | |
1 stick butter 2 c. graham cracker crumbs Melt butter, mix with crumbs. Press on bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Chill. SLICE: 3 to 4 bananas over crust 20 oz. can crushed pineapple Drain pineapple and spread over bananas. FILLING: 2 c. powdered sugar 2 sticks butter 2 eggs Beat filling ingredients at high speed 15 minutes (if mixer gets hot, place filling in freezer 15 minutes while mixer cools off). Spread filling over banana/pineapple. Top with 8 ounces Cool Whip. Garnish with chopped nuts, shaved chocolate and maraschino cherries. Keep cold. |
