1 c. onion, chopped
3/4 c. celery, chopped
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. paprika
3/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 c. tomato paste
2 c. ketchup
1 qt. water
2 c. brown sugar, packed

Combine all ingredients. Cook slowly 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour hot sauce over oven fried chicken, baked meat patties, frankfurters, or meat of your choice. Makes about 2 1/2 quarts.
