“GLAZED PECANS” IS IN:
NEXT RECIPE:  HONEY SPICED NUTS

GLAZED PECANS 
1/2 lb. pecan halves
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. rum flavoring

Heat nuts in 250°F oven for 15 minutes.

Cook sugar, water, salt and spices to soft ball stage (234-240°F on candy thermometer). Do not stir.

Add flavoring. Stir in nuts until creamy and thoroughly coated.

Pour onto waxed paper. Separate nuts as they cool.

Cooks Note: Use of a candy thermometer is recommended.
