2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. water
2 c. flour plus 2 tbsp.
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Boil water and butter. Add sugar, flour, and salt. In small bowl beat eggs, buttermilk, soda, and vanilla. Add this to first mixture and beat. Pour into greased jelly roll pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost with following:
