RUBY FRUIT COMPOTE 
1 (8 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
3 fresh pears, pared, cored & quartered
2 med. oranges, peeled, sliced & slices halved
1/2 c. seedless grapes, halved

In a microwave safe 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, combine cranberry sauce, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon and ginger. Cook covered on high power (100%) for 2-4 minutes or until boiling. Add pears, stir gently to coat with cranberry mixture. Cook covered on high for 3-5 minutes or until pears are tender; stir once. Add oranges and grapes. Cover and cook 1/2-1 minute until heated through. Serve warm or chilled. Serves 6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
