CHOCOLATE FUDGE PUDDING 
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. hot water

Combine granulated sugar, flour, cocoa (2 tablespoons), baking powder, and salt in mixing bowl. Add nuts; stir in milk, oil and vanilla. Spread into greased 8 inch square pan. Mix brown sugar, cocoa (1/4 cup), salt, and hot water. Pour over unbaked batter. Bake in 350 degree oven 40 to 45 minutes. As pudding bakes, the batter rises through rich chocolate sauce. Serve warm or cold with ice cream. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
