HOLIDAY EGG NOG 
1 gallon vanilla ice cream
1/2 pt. cream
6 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
Ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. golden rum or rum flavoring

Melt ice cream in punch bowl. Beat eggs until light and foamy. Add sugar and salt. Beat until thick. Beat in melted ice cream at slow speed, add cream until desired consistency is reached. Chill until ready to serve.

Makes 12 servings, about 1/2 cup each.
