CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1 block chocolate, melted or 2 tbsp. cocoa
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add chocolate. Sift together dry ingredients; add alternately with buttermilk. Pour into tube pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

ICING:

2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
1 c. canned milk
2 tsp. vanilla

Bring slowly to boil on medium high heat. Cook approximately 30 minutes.
