4 slices American cheese, cut into 6 strips each
8 hot dogs
1 (8 oz.) can crescent dinner rolls or biscuit mix (or make your own biscuit dough)

Slit hot dogs. Insert 3 cheese strips. Roll hot dog in crescent roll or biscuit dough. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
