SAUSAGE BITES WITH CHUTNEY SAUCE 
FOR 8 APPETIZER SERVINGS YOU WILL NEED:

1 lb. hot or mild Italian sausage

CHUTNEY SAUCE:

1/2 c. plain low-fat yogurt
2/3 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. drained and chopped mango or peach chutney
3 tbsp. minced green onion
1/4 to 1/3 tsp. curry powder
Salt and pepper

1. Cut sausages into 1 inch chunks. Place in shallow baking pan or oven-proof skillet.

2. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 15 minutes turning occasionally to brown all over.

3. Meanwhile, in bowl, combine yogurt, mayonnaise, chutney, green onion and curry powder. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

4. Drain sausage pieces on paper towels.

5. When serving, insert cocktail picks in each sausage. Serve with chutney sauce.
