MADELINE'S CANDY CREAMS | |
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 2 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar 2 drops food coloring 2 drops flavoring or oil flavoring Cream cheese and 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Combine to add sugar until thick enough to knead (there in lies the problem). Too soft, will not set up - too hard, they will crack. Make a ball the size of a dime. Let set 5 minutes. Press down with tines of a fork to flatten. Leave on tray for an hour before removing. Pink - peppermint; yellow - lemon; green - winter green; orange - orange. |
