EASTER BREAD 
STEP ONE:

1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. scalded milk
1 egg yolk
3 1/2 c. flour

STEP TWO:

1 egg white
1 tsp. almond filling
1 c. nuts
1/2 c. sugar
8 to 10 drops green food coloring

GLAZE:

2 c. confectioners sugar
4 tbsp. water
Cherries
Chopped nuts

Step One:

Mix and let rise until double. Punch down and roll into rectangle.

Step Two:

Beat egg white until foaming. Brush bread with butter then add remainder of ingredients in step two to make filling for bread.

Fill the bread dough then roll it into a ring. Bake at 325 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes.

Mix glaze when bread cooled and garnish with cherries and chopped nuts.
