PARTY SALAD 
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
3/4 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) box lemon or lime Jello
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. grated carrots
1/4 c. celery (cut very fine)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 pt. whipped cream or 1 pkg. Dream Whip

Mix sugar with pineapple plus juice and bring to a boil. Then add dry Jello. Mix thoroughly and cool slightly. Add the cream cheese (room temperature) and cool. Then add carrots, celery and nuts. Fold in whipped cream or Dream Whip last. Refrigerate until set.
