1/2 c. minced onion Cooking oil 2 tbsp. minced green pepper 1/3 c. minced celery 1 lb. ground beef 3/4 tsp. salt 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup Dash of pepper 2 tbsp. flour 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 7 tbsp. cold water 1 recipe biscuit dough 1/2 c. milk Cook onion lightly in oil, do not brown. Add green pepper, celery, beef, salt and pepper. Cool slightly. Sprinkle with flour and mix well. Stir Worcestershire sauce into water; add to beef mixture. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Cool; spread on biscuit dough. Roll and seal. Cut into 1-inch slices. Place slices in well-greased pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Stir milk in soup; heat thoroughly. Serve over slices. Serves 4-6. |
