GRANDMA'S KUCHEN 
1 c. milk
1 stick butter
5 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
2 eggs
3 c. sifted bread flour
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1 tsp. flour
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Coconut

Heat milk in pan. Add sugar to dissolve. Add yeast to dissolve. Transfer to bowl. Mix in sifted flour and salt. Put in one whole egg, blending before addition of second egg.

Melt butter. Add (not while hot), beating with spoon to remove lumps before adding vanilla; mix well. Spoon batter into greased 9 inch square pan. Let rise until double; then add topping. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm slices with butter!
