SAUSAGE CASSEROLE 
1 lb (500 g.) sausage
2 tablespoons flour, all purpose
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 medium onion
1⁄2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 lb (225 g.) pineapple (optional)
1/2 lb (200 g.) peas (optional)
1/2 lb (210 g.) corn (optional)

Note: Measurements are approximate.

1. Simmer sausages for 5 minutes in a small amount of water to remove the skins.

2. In a medium sized casserole dish, mix flour, sugar, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce with pineapple juice to a smooth paste.

3. Add liquid from peas and corn, salt and pepper, stir to mix.

4. Add sausages thickly sliced, then the other ingredients.

5. Cook slowly at 300°F (approximately 140°C) for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Note: Serve with mashed potato or rice.
