FETTUCCINE ALFREDO | |
1 c. half and half 1 stick butter 3 lg. garlic cloves, crushed 1/2 c. sour cream 1 c. freshly grated Romano cheese 1 lb. fettuccine 1/2 lb. crab meat plus 2 tbsp. sherry (opt.) Melt butter in cream with crushed garlic in a large fry pan on lowest setting. Never increase flame while cooking. After completely melted and mixed together, about 15 minutes. Remove garlic cloves and add sour cream, mixing thoroughly. Next add freshly grated cheese plus any extra ingredients you may wish to add. Mix thoroughly. Allow cheese to melt about 5 minutes. meanwhile, cook 1 pound of fettuccine according to directions. Drain thoroughly. Mix with sauce and serve immediately. Serves 4. |
