CHINESE SOUP (ALA HILLBILLY) 
6 to 8 c. chicken broth
1 c. very fine noodles
1/4 c. green onions, chopped
1/2 c. Chinese cabbage, or celery tops
1 c. chicken, cooked and boned
1/4 c. water chestnuts, sliced
1 c. sliced mushrooms

Bring broth to a boil and add noodles, cook until tender. Add chicken. Cook 10 minutes. Just before serving, add onions and cabbage, heat to wilt onions and cabbage.
