SPINACH SALAD 
DRESSING:

3/4 c. white vinegar
1 1/2 c. oil
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. grated onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seed
3/4 tsp. dry or prepared mustard

Mix and add 1 Bermuda onion (white) cut into medium pieces and marinate a couple hours.

SALAD:

20 oz. spinach
1 head (or less) iceberg lettuce, cut up
3/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
3/4 lb. grated swiss cheese
1/2 lb. bacon, cut up and fried crisp
1 c. cottage cheese, drained

Wash and break up and crisp the spinach. Mix the salad ingredients and pour the dressing over. Toss just before serving.
