DUTCH APPLE CAKE DESSERT 
Bake at 350 degrees for first 15 minutes. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes.

1/2 c. butter
2 c. white sugar
2 beaten eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon

4 cups apples (cut up small), 1 cup chopped nuts. Mix well and use 9 x 12 inch pan, greased.

SAUCE:

1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook over low heat until mixture coats spoon. Pour over cake when warm. Cake and sauce can be frozen.
